The fluid is controlled by rotation of the disc inside the valve. Full opening and full closing operation is achieved by 90° rotation, however butterfly valves also have an excellent flow rate adjustment function at intermediate opening. Usually the valve is “sandwiched” between flanges, its face to face dimensions are short and the valve is lightweight, which is a good choice for larger sizes.
Butterfly valves are suitable for various fluid conditions and can be used in all fields.

Centric Type Butterfly Valve

A butterfly valve with rubber seat.
It is highly versatile and can be used for ON-OFF operation as well as for fluid adjustment.
The material ranges from cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel and stainless steel. Connection is available as Wafer, Lug or Flange type and automation is easy.

Eccentric Type Butterfly Valve

An eccentric type butterfly valve.
The double eccentric structure reduces friction between the seat and the valve body, reducing torque and extending the life of the seat. Various seat materials, like teflon or metal are available.
Eccentric butterfly valves are suitable for fluid conditions, where rubber seats are limited.
The triple eccentric structure can be used in even higer temperature and higher pressure regions.Not only metal seats but also laminated sheets with excellent sealing properties can be manufactured.
